Milo's forest house experience kitchen

Cooking with passion

In 1960 Emil Bahr (better known as Milo Barus) built a residential house near the Meuschkensmühle. Milo Barus was a six-time world champion in load carrying. He was the man who carried horses, prevented cars from driving off and pulled buses with his bare teeth. After ending his career as an artist in the mid-1960s, he lived in this house until 1976. The Swiss-style house is located across from the Meuschkensmühle, which Milo Barus farmed with his wife. Today, "Milo's Forest House" is a stylish event kitchen. Here you can go on a culinary journey of discovery during communal cooking evenings.
